The book project 2013

Last year's book project (and the only new year's resolution) was to buy at least one book a month. Which I did. (I bought more than 12 books last year, but I don't count books I had already read, because I borrowed them, comics, even they are real books, and cooking/baking books).
So books I bought last year:

January: Stuart: A Life Backwards - Alexander Masters (which I liked)
February: Percy Jackson – Rick Riordan (which I didn't like)
March: Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman (which I liked)
April: Gefangene des Engels (The Darkangel Trilogy )- M. A. Pierce (loved this one)
May: The Strain: Book 1 of The Strain Trilogy -Guillermo Del Toro, Chuck Hogan (awesome)
June: The Eternal Kiss: 12 Vampire Tales of Blood and Desire - Tricia Telep (I liked most of the stories in it). AND: The Fall - Guillermo Del Toro, Chuck Hogan (second book in the trilogy)
July: Die Märchen von Beedle dem Barden - J. K. Rowling (I really liked it too) AND: Immortal: Love Stories with Bite - P. C. Cast, Leah Wilson (more vampires \o/)
August: The Night Eternal - Guillermo Del Toro, Chuck Hogan (might be the best part of the series)
September: American Gods - Neil Gaiman (liked it more than I thought I would. I discovered I prever his short stories)
October: We need to talk about Kevin – Lionel Shriver (didn't read it yet - saw the movie...)
November: Mysterious Skin - Scott Heim (good book, horrible things happening in it)
December: Wolfsrudel - Floortje Zwigtman (really, really good and disturbing) AND: We Disappear - Scott Heim (not as good as MS, but still very good)

This year's book project will be to review at least one book a month. And I am making it public so I'll do it. \o/ I'm going to try and post them on the17th.
